This week, there were 30 new construction projects exceeding $1 million that were awarded permits in Alabama, with a large chunk of those planned for Huntsville.

In all, 16 permits were issued this week in and around Huntsville, including a 191-unit apartment complex called The Elroy. Take a look at where these new projects approved in Huntsville are located.

The Elroy is a 191-unit complex located at Research Park. Total costs for this project come to nearly $30 million, making it the largest of the new projects approved in Huntsville this week. Here are some more details:
