Nestled in the heart of historic Lincoln Mill is Coin Coworkingโone of Huntsville’s most beautiful office spaces. Read on to learn more about the incredible family behind it and how they’re connecting the Huntsville community.
Meet Will + Claire
Will and Claire fell in love while they were in college at Auburn University. Soon after, they married and happily settled down in Arab for 11 years, serving at a local church.
When not working at the church, Claire enjoyed reading and Will loved being outdoors. They also spent time playing superheroes and ninja turtles with their two boys โLiam, who’s now five years old, and Judah, who’s four years old.
Even though they were happy in Arab, they recently felt called to the Rocket City, where they became entrepreneurs and started Coin Coworking.
Why coworking?
Most people hadn’t heard of coworking until COVID-19 hit, but Will and Claire have known the coworking model for a while.
Some of their Nashville and Atlanta friends have used coworking spaces for years, so Will and Claire decided to visit them to get inspiration for creating their own.
They wanted to offer something unique to Huntsville, prioritizing aesthetics, professionalism, affordable pricing and community.
“One of my favorite parts about Coin is meeting people from so many different backgrounds. A lot of times we’re on the frontlines of people moving into Huntsville, and we love helping them get settled and find community here.”
Will Harbison, Owner, Coin Coworking
Will and his family also found Coin to be the perfect opportunity for them because of its flexibility. Will works as a pastor in Huntsville and is in the process of planting a church, so he loves having a creative space to meet with community members and get work done during the week.
Bringing community to Huntsville
Coin’s design was specifically engineered to foster community. The main section of Coin offers open seatingโkind of like a coffee shop, but the coffee’s free and the environment is always professional. Additionally, the private offices feature glass doors, so they don’t close anyone off from the Coin community.
One of Will and Claire’s top goals is to connect professionals and provide networking opportunities across Huntsville.
“We love seeing how many different backgrounds and professions call Coin home. It’s meaningful to watch people connect from all different walks of life.”
Will Harbison, Owner, Coin Coworking
Part of the reason Coin attracts such a diverse group of people is due to their flexible coworking options.
“We pride ourselves in being really flexible. We want to meet the unique needs of each person and offer affordable prices in the process.”
Claire Harbison, Owner, Coin Coworking
