These 5 new businesses are opening in Huntsville

This past week, we saw five new businesses join the community, including some great new spots to eat, and some cool new shopping options.

A new Hallmark store will open soon in Madison. Hallmark Gold Crown stores feature greeting cards, of course, but also carry a wide array of gifts, holiday decorations and more.

2. Southern Throne Boutique

Southern Throne Boutique held its grand opening celebration this past weekend. The new downtown store is described as a boutique that “provides modern Southern Women with comfortable fashions that make a lasting impression.”

3. Cristina’s Freestyle Cooking

Although this opening occurred two weeks ago rather than last week, we do want to make sure y’all know about Cristina’s Freestyle Cooking. This delicious Hawaiian/Filipino fusion restaurant brings a unique menu to the city’s culinary scene.

4. City Bowls

You may know them from Birmingham, Trussville, Hoover or even their Florida locations — by the end of 2023, City Bowls will have a home right here in Huntsville. Beyond their multiple different açaí flavors, you can try out pitaya- or spinach-based bowls.

5. PJ’s Coffee

As we announced earlier this month, a new PJ’s Coffee is now open in Downtown Huntsville, and you can find it at the bottom of the parking garage off Spragins Street. PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans is best known for their original cold brew and frozen granitas. The official grand opening Thursday, Sept. 28.
