NEW: South Star Festival replacing Jane’s Addiction with Tom Morello
Reading time: 3 minutes
Are you excited for this weekend’s South Star Music Festival? So are we!
Unfortunately, recent changes have been made to the South Star lineup. After several instances of on-stage conflict during their reunion tour, Jane’s Addiction was forced to abandon the tour and their time slot in this weekend’s festival.
The on-stage scrap between the band’s lead singer and lead guitarist, Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro, can be seen in the video below:

While the necessary cancellation of Jane’s Addiction’s short-lived reunion tour is a major blow to the South Star Music Festival and the band’s Huntsville fans, the good news is that an incredible replacement has been announced: Tom Morello.
Known for his guitar work with Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave, Tom Morello is a force to be reckoned with as one of the most influential guitarists in rock history.
During his live performances, he shreds instrumental guitar medleys from both bands’ discography. He also includes riffs from covers and other solo projects as part of his show.
For rock fans who were worried about losing some of the headbanging rock energy from Jane’s Addiction’s cancellation, don’t you worry. Tom Morello has you covered for this Saturday.
