Trash Pandas have now topped Southern League in attendance 4 years straight

The Rocket City Trash Pandas have been packing Toyota Field since their first season in Madison in 2021. And for the fourth straight season, the team topped the Southern League in attendance.

That’s pretty impressive!

Trash Pandas a huge draw in MiLB

For the fourth year in a row, your Trash Pandas have topped the Southern League in attendance, which is no small feat. Here are some of the numbers from this season:

  • 319,417 total fans
  • Average of 4,563 fans per game
  • 32 home wins
  • The team welcomed its 1 millionth fan during the 2024 season

The average attendance for Southern League teams this season is 3,273 per game, which Rocket City far surpassed.

In addition to leading the league in attendance, multiple Trash Pandas players received league honors during the season:

  • Pitcher Caden Dana represented the Southern League at the MLB Futures Game during All-Star week.
  • Dana was also the Southern League Pitcher of the Month in August.
  • George Klassen was named Pitcher of the Week in the Southern League this past week.
  • Outfielder Gustavo Campero was named July Southern League Player of the Month.
