Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen to open new location in Hunstville

North Carolina-based restaurant and bar Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar is set to open its first Alabama location right here in Huntsville.

The popular restaurant plans to open this fall at MidCity. Here’s what we know:

About Tupelo Honey

The restaurant, which will be located at 900 Mid City Drive inside the Metronome at MidCity, is set to open Nov. 8.

The restaurant chain is known for authentic southern cuisine with roots in the Carolina mountains and Appalachian traditions. The Huntsville location will be the chain’s 23rd location nationwide.

Here are some more details about the Huntsville location:

• The restaurant will occupy more than 6,000 square feet inside the Metronome.
• It will include additional patio space that will seat nearly 75 guests. 
• The restaurant will be staffed by more than 90 local employees.
• Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 11AM. to 9PM, Saturday and Sunday from 10AM to 9PM. 
• The restaurant will also host weekday Happy Hours from Monday through Thursday, 3PM to 6PM.
• The Huntsville location will include selections from Alabama-based breweries, like Singin’ River Brewing, Straight to Ale Brewing, Goat Island Brewing,and Yellowhammer Brewing.
