UAH community mourns the loss of a beloved staff member

Jimmy Hubbard will forever be missed. (Hville Blast)

The University of Alabama Huntsville community is mourning the loss of Director of Student Ethics and Education, Jimmy Hubbard. His passing was announced on April 2 by the UAH Administration.

Hubbard was a popular member of the UAH family among staff and students alike.

About Jimmy Hubbard

Prior to his deep community impact at UAH, Jimmy served at The University of Alabama, Bethel University and The University of Tennessee. Jimmy’s extended family and close friends reside in Tennessee, where he maintains deep roots.

Jimmy was also a member of the Association of Student Conduct Administrators and a past member of the Southeast Association of Housing Officers.

His impact translated to the UAH community, where he joined in 2017 as the director of Student Ethics and Education. He oversaw students and ensured the integrity of the Code of Conduct. His role also consisted of training the University Conduct Board members on best practices.
