Last October 31, a new indie movie theater opened its doors in Lowe Mill. The Independent, founded by Sandra Kohler, is an extremely unqiue space that you should definitely go check out if you’re into cult or classic films (or good vibes in general).

The Independent is currently wrapping up their “Sci-Fi month” series with showings of Galaxy Quest, two showings of Robocop, two showings of Scanners and Metropolis!
