Another trending treat is taking over the internet, and we found them right here in Huntsville. The Chocolate Gallery is one of just a few shops in Alabama offering the picturesque fruit-shaped mousse pastries (and spoiler, they’re in high demand).

We brought our box back to our Lowe Mill office to film a taste-test, and every person that walked by asked where to find them.

Who else has seen all the TikToks of sweets lovers digging in to these beautifully crafted desserts? Everyone is obsessed with the vibrant colors, shiny finish and precise molding that makes these chocolate look like real fruits. They’re also really hard to find, making the hunt part of the fun!

What’s inside that beautiful shell? Here are all the layers:

It takes an extensive (and secret) three-day process to achieve all the steps.

Luckily, the ladies at The Chocolate Gallery are up with the viral trends and are putting in the work (I’m talking hundreds of hours in the kitchen) to bring North Alabama the fruit pastries.

Owner Kimberly came up with all the recipes and flavor combos, which include:

Some backstory about the owner: Kimberly’s mom was a recent owner of the shop, who eventually sold the business in 2024. Kimberly heard the new owners were going to sell the shop, which has been in Huntsville since the early 2000s, and bought it back to keep the beloved spot alive. After hearing requests for these viral treats from the community, Kimberly figured out a way to make them — and the community outpour of support has been overwhelming.

Since the shops’ introduction of the viral Dubai chocolate last fall and the fruit pastries in November, The Chocolate Gallery has been growing steadily to keep bringing Huntsville the internet’s viral treats.

Kimberly says the response has been overwhelming, and they’re doing all they can to keep up with demand. They’ve added extra staff, purchased additional molds, added another freezer and are working around the clock for weekly fruit drops (in addition to all their other goodies!).
