The beautiful Hampton Cove in Huntsville is getting an exciting new development — the charming Big Cove Village. The project will involve a diverse range of housing, beautiful greenery and a walkable village lined with small businesses and regional architecture.

Where will Big Cove Village be?

Big Cove Village is expected to arrive at the intersection of Cecil Ashburn Drive SE and Old Big Cove Road, as depicted above.

The 1,200-acre development will be tucked in the Hampton Cove community, which features community lakes and parks, the RTJ Golf Trail and outstanding schools. It will connect Blevins Gap Nature Preserve and Big Cove Creek Greenway, granting residents convenient access to both areas.

A cozy new community

The existing Hampton Cove population welcomed the idea, and another meeting will be held in August of this year to review final plans.

This project may take up to a decade to complete, but it will be well worth the wait. Big Cove Village will be lively and accessible, attracting a wide range of people with work opportunities, new social life and nature.
