Kesley Butler has worked at Huntsville Hospital for five years and always dreamed of becoming a Nurse Practitioner.

In December 2023, she graduated with her post-master’s certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from UNA, and upon passing the National Board Exam, she’ll be officially certified as a Nurse Practitioner.

Check out why she loved studying at UNA:

“UNA has provided me with experiences and opportunities of a lifetime. Working while going back to school can be stressful, but UNA makes it possible for everyone regardless of their lifestyle. Through UNA’s partnership with Huntsville Hospital, I was able to get a tuition discount, which was very helpful. I am forever grateful to this university and its faculty for cheering us on throughout this journey and truly supporting us.”

Flexibility to spend time with family is Gary’s priority. (Lacey Spear / Hville Blast)

Gary Lambert loves traveling with his family for his son’s baseball games, mentoring young men and furthering his education.

Recently, he completed his online MBA at UNA, but he’s not stopping there. In January 2024, Gary will step onto UNA’s campus as an Executive Doctor of Business Administration student.

Without UNA’s flexible, online format, he couldn’t have juggled his job, family life and school.

“From enrolling to graduating with my MBA, the entire process has been seamless. As an online student living in Huntsville, I never had the chance to step foot on campus until my MBA graduation. However, the staff made me feel like more than a number—that I was a long-term, valued student and alumnus of the esteemed university. I can’t wait to start the EDBA soon and one day become Dr. Gary Lambert!”
