Let’s settle the debate: What’s the best burger in Huntsville?
Reading time: 4 minutes
Burgers are one of the most customizable dishes out there, and everyone likes theirs a certain way. Thankfully, Huntsville has no shortage of unique and tasty takes on this classic American dish.
However, it’s debatable as to who can lay claim to serving the best burger in Huntsville. The following spots are, in our team’s opinion, among the most worthy competitors for this coveted title:
Table of Contents
1892 East Restaurant & Tavern
1892 East is the only spot on this list that doesn’t specialize in burgers, which makes its potential claim for the best burger in Huntsville all the more impressive.
Its savory burgers are only one aspect of their well-rounded American menu, but they have stayed atop our list for some of the best in Huntsville.
“Best burger in town is at 1892 East in 5 Points. I have had some magnificent burgers here in Huntsville, but this one is my favorite.”

Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar
Building your own burger at Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar is a treat in itself (especially since you get to name your creations), but it is also emblematic of the celebratory nature needed for a well-rounded burger-eating experience.
The restaurant (of which there are two in Huntsville) is a fun spot for catching the big game with friends or enjoying a lively atmosphere. I even ate here for my bachelor party over this past summer, and I would do it again if I could!

Beast Mode Food Truck
The Beast Mode Food Truck is one of my personal favorites given its revolving menus of themed burgers.
You can often find it on the UAH campus, which has made my time as a student even more enjoyable. However, it also caters private events and local events.
Of particular note is the Cuban Burger, which combines an angus patty with smoked ham and pulled pork in one of the heartiest and most flavorful burgers I’ve ever had.
Farm Burger
Farm Burger is a standout on this list for its grass-fed burgers. Every time I’ve been here, the burger tasted cleaner and fresher than just about any I’ve ever had.
I highly recommend adding a fried egg and ordering their specialty root beer to complement the experience.

Jack Brown’s Beer & Burger Joint
Jack Brown’s is a popular burger joint downtown that offers classic and specialty concoctions. It is also another spot that understands how a fun social atmosphere contributes to the burger eating experience.
Jack Brown’s offers many toppings that set them apart from the pack, including BBQ potato chips, mac n’ cheese and jalapeño jelly. I also highly recommend finishing one of their savory burgers with a Deep Fried Oreo.
