Madison’s rapid growth has prompted the need for several new capital projects throughout the city. An update on several of those projects was released by the city recently, with many of these projects completing soon.

Here’s a look at the progress on some of these capital projects:

Fire stations on Celtic Drive + Town Madison

  • Toyota Field Inventory
  • Library Inventory
  • Archived Files

The new Animal Control Building for this station is another aspect of the project, which may be funded through the sale of the Sullivan St. fire station.

Bidding for the planned fire station at Town Madison is scheduled to begin in March. The office will be ready for move-in by the end of the year, while the fire station itself will be done in 14-16 months.
