Where to see local music this July in Huntsville

There are plenty of exciting local musicians performing around the Rocket City this July. If you’re looking for a live music event to attend, whether you like R&B, 80s or trap music, we’ve got you covered. The best part? Most of these events are free, so you should make sure to swing by as many of these concerts as you can before summer is over.

1. Concerts in the Park
If you’re looking for a live music event with a little bit of everything, Concerts in the Park is for you. This is an annual event with a wide variety of artists who play in different genres including rock, pop, jazz, country and bluegrass.

2. Summer Sunset Concert Series at Ditto Landing Pavilion: Mike Roberts

3. R+B Vibes Live

4. Mixx Madness
Mixx Madness is back and better than ever! Hosted by DJ Kartel and The Camp, Mixx Madness is an awesome live music event that is family friendly and exciting for everyone. Stop by at 6PM for happy hour every other Tuesday before the show.

5. 805 After Five: Billy Allen + The Pollies
805 After Five is Campus No. 805’s newest event, and everyone is talking about it. You don’t want to miss out on this event, happening every third Thursday of each month — you’ll find food trucks, yard games, retail vendors, interactive experiences, beer and more!

6. Trap Democracy
This live music event, presented by Shake the Field, aims to inspire civic engagement and embrace a commitment to Alabama’s artistic and cultural communities.
