Winter weather now prompting closures in Huntsville area

The pending winter weather this weekend has prompted several schools, businesses and services to close or postpone operations in the Huntsville area. Up to seven inches of snow could fall over parts of North Alabama Friday (for more information on the weather forecast, read this report), and roads are expected to be affected.
Here is a list of schools and businesses that are closed Friday, Jan. 10:
