What World Atlas says about Huntsville
Huntsville, the only city in Alabama to make the list, was described by the publication as a city full of excitement, culture, nature and — of course — charm.
“Visitors are sure to have a blast exploring the US Space and Rocket Center, the largest space museum in the world. For those looking to keep their feet on the ground, Huntsville provides plenty of attractions at Big Spring International Park, such as a koi fish pond, paved walkways and the Panoply Arts Festival in the spring.”

The publication also mentions Monte Sano, the Tennesse and Flint rivers and the Huntsville Museum of Art as more reasons Huntsville is so charming.
This honor comes after U.S News & World Report listed Huntsville among the Best Cities to Live in the U.S. for the last two years (with the Rocket City landing at no. 1 in 2022 and no. 2 this year).
The Times Tribune this year named Madison County as the best county to live in Alabama.
