One of the busiest travel seasons of the year is approaching, with Thanksgiving and Christmas on the way, and if you are making travel plans right now–which you probably need to go ahead and do– keep in mind that Huntsville International Airport offers several non-stop flights from the Rocket City.
Of course, Nashville and Birmingham are less than two hours away, and also have an extensive roster of direct flights as well, but if you aren’t keen on making the drive, HSV can accommodate.
Here’s where you can fly non-stop from HSV

The Huntsville airport has added some direct flights to its roster this year. Here’s where you can go straight from Huntsville:
- Atlanta (Delta)
- Charlotte (American)
- Chicago (American/United)
- Dallas (American)
- Denver (United)
- Detroit (Delta)
- Houston (United)
- Las Vegas (Breeze)
- Los Angeles (Breeze)
- Miami (American)
- Orlando (Breeze)
- Tampa (Breeze)
- Washington D.C. – Dulles (United)
- Washington D.C – National (American)
- New York City (Delta)
Some new additions to the direct flight roster are coming beginning in November, as Allegiant Air will begin service from HSV.
The new routes Allegiant will offer to and From HSV include:
- Fort Lauderdale, Florida via Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) beginning November 19
- Sanford, Florida via Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) beginning February 12
- St. Petersburg, Florida via St. Pete–Clearwater International Airport (PIE) beginning March 5
