We’re celebrating Black History Month this year by supporting Black locally-owned stores. These different 16 businesses bring unique products, services and cultural influence that help strengthen the greater Huntsville community.

1. Dapper Dude
This online store specializes in customized suits and offers a selection of the coolest lapel pins. An added plus is that customization isn’t limited to men’s suits; the owner, Derrick Ramey Jr., also creates women’s suits.
Fun Fact: Derrick Ramey Jr. custom-designed a suit for Grammy-nominated producer, Kelvin Wooten, to wear on the red carpet.
2. Filthy Gorgeous on Main

4. Southern Throne Boutique
Southern Throne Boutique has some of the cutest clothes I have seen, my favorite things are their earrings. Unfortunately, this store was hit during a big storm in Athens, so they are currently working as an online store until further notice.
