2 Huntsville restaurants recognized in 2026 Michelin Guide

For the second straight year, a pair of Huntsville restaurants have earned the “recommended restaurant” distinction from the Michelin Guide.

Salt Smokehouse and Purveyor got the news following Wednesday night’s American South Restaurants ceremony in Nashville. 12 total restaurants across Alabama earned the recognition from the prestigious organization.

Huntsville has two of the 265 restaurants on the American South recommended restaurants list from Michelin Guide.

“In its second year, the MICHELIN Guide American South continues to reveal the remarkable talent and diversity of the region’s culinary landscape. As our anonymous Inspectors continued to explore the South, they found not only exciting momentum in established dining destinations, but also exceptional restaurants in smaller communities and unexpected corners of the region. We are delighted to celebrate the talented restaurant teams recognized in this year’s selection.”
