Alabama has a large collection of community colleges and each one provides a unique experience for students. Financial wellness publication WalletHub recently ranked 613 community colleges across the country and 19 from our state made the list, including two up here in North Alabama.

Best community colleges in Alabama
WalletHub selected a sample of schools from the list of member institutions in the American Association of Community Colleges.
The sit evaluated the schools on three key dimensions, including:
- Cost & Financing
- Education Outcomes
- Career Outcomes
Those three categories were broken into 18 total metrics, each given a specific weight toward the final grade.

Overall, WalletHub ranked Alabama 39th in the country for community college quality.
