This Saturday, April 23, is Record Store Day, an annual day set aside to highlight the importance of small, local, independent record stores.

Below, find out which local stores will be participating, and get a list of several of the exclusive releases you might find there.

1. Black Dog Grounds & Sounds

Madison’s newest record store + coffee shop will be participating in its first Record Store Day this year. Head over on Saturday for delicious coffee and a great time.

2. Station Retro

Station Retro is your go-to spot for all things vintage. Whether you’re into vinyl, gaming, collecting or films, you’ll find something great here.

3. Vertical House Records

Vertical House Records in Lowe Mill has participated in every Record Store Day since its inception in 2008. They’re updating their social media with special release availability, so keep an eye out for your faves there. (FYI, fellow Swifties, they’ll have 16 copies of the limited release of “the lakes.”)
