Handel’s Ice Cream just found a new home in the Jones Valley area of Huntsville. Handel’s has been churning homemade ice cream since 1945, when Alice Handel founded it in Youngstown, Ohio.

Here’s some menu items we’re eyeing:

  • Chocoholic Chunk: Dark chocolate lovers, this one’s for you.
  • Oree-Dough: Oreos and cookie dough pieces? Yes, please.
  • Graham Central Station: This one definitely has s’more vibes, which is perfect for fall.

Here’s where you can get all that and many more flavors:

2. Peach Cobbler Factory

Peach cobbler is one of my favorites. (Peach Cobbler Factory – Huntsville / Facebook)

Peach Cobbler Factory is on a mission to serve up classic sweets the old-fashioned way. They don’t just make peach cobbler, though! They’ve got a variety of cinnamon rolls and banana puddings, too.

Here’s what’s looking especially good to us:

  • Cinnamon Peach Praline: Adding praline to peach cobbler is an idea I wish I would’ve come up with.
  • Nutella Cinnamon Roll: Need I say more?
  • Bourbon Pecan Banana Pudding: An irresistible combo of flavors.

Ready to try it? Here’s how:

There’s a new boba spot in town! Leafly Boba is all about fresh ingredients and they serve up some creative flavors. They steep their teas daily, make their own syrups and make their fruity bobas with fresh fruit purees.

Here’s some of the teas we can’t wait to try:

  • Cookie Butter Milk Tea: This one’s a specialty at Leafly!
  • Southern Sweet Tea with Salted Crema: Boba southern-style? Sign me up.
  • Strawberry Matcha Latte: A three-layered green, pink and white drink with boba. It’s basically art you can drink.
