4 dog events in Huntsville this spring—Pup Palooza, Fido Fest and more

As the warmer weather comes in (yes, it is coming), our dogs are loving getting out as much as we are.
These four events around Huntsville are the perfect opportunities to show off your pup and meet new ones, too! Let’s check them out.
1. Pet Day at University Pickers
University Pickers has been hosting their Pet Day for a few years now, and we’re glad to see its return this year. The Easter Bunny will be there, as well as photo ops, treats and an Easter egg hunt—dog version.

2. Pup Palooza
The Orion Amphitheater is teaming up with the Greater Huntsville Humane Society to put on this free event. It will be tons of fun for the pups and their owners, with live music, food trucks, pup-friendly vendors, themed drink specials.
Plus, there will be a supply drive supporting the GHHS and a pup parade—with musician look-alike costumes (and prizes!).

3. Patio PAWty
Heart to Heart Pet Partners is a local organization providing therapy animal services to local schools, medical and residential facilities. They’re teaming up with Yellowhammer Brewing for a Patio Pawty, where children can read to the therapy dogs and adults can grab a pint, benefitting Heart to Heart.

4. Fido Fest
The annual Fido Fest at Bridge Street is another event benefiting a local organization—the Greater Huntsville Humane Society. This free event will feature live music, food, drinks, face painting, pup splash zones and pet-friendly vendors for an afternoon of fun.
