For a cafe or restaurant to have a European feel to me, it must accomplish two things:

  1. Have a concept + design that momentarily transports you to a European country
  2. Offer a unique menu + service style that slows down the pace of dining (ex: ordering several courses over an extended period of time)

Read on to find five spots in Huntsville with a European feel and check out our insider tips to dine like a true European.

From the antique wooden chairs and dainty wallpaper to the laidback atmosphere and classic cafe menu, this spot has English countryside galore written all over it.

L’Etoile offers an authentic taste of French pastries right here in Huntsville. The owners, Kevin and Kristen, traveled the world through Kevin’s 34-year service with the U.S. Army.

Consequently, they indulged in some of the world’s finest cuisine and fell in love with the experience, flavor and culture of French bread and pastries.
