Looking to get spooked this Halloween season? We’ve got plenty of haunted attractions in and around Huntsville you should check out—read on for the details.

1. Escape House of Terror

Huntsville’s Rage Room is hosting The Gatekeeper Escape House of Terror all October, an interactive haunted attraction that requires you + your group to find keys to escape from The Gatekeeper’s lair.

2. Doomsday Haunt

Athens’ post-apocalyptic haunted attraction, Doomsday Haunt, allows adrenaline-seekers to join the Doomsday Investigation Scene as they survey the area for townspeople cut off from society by nuclear war 70 years ago.

3. Nightmare on Moulton Street

Head over the river to Decatur’s only haunted attraction, Nightmare on Moulton Street. The upstairs at The Brick Deli in Decatur is notoriously haunted, and you’re invited to investigate it for two weekends in October.

As a Killen native, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Arx Mortis, just an hour’s drive away from Huntsville. The attraction has been ranked among the best in the nation by MSN, USA Today, Coaster Nation + more.
