Some newcomers to the Huntsville-area business community have opened in the last several days and we want to tell you all about them!
Here’s a look at five new businesses in and around the Rocket City (plus some sad news of a few closings):

Nova Bank held a ribbon-cutting ceremony recently at their new branch in Downtown Huntsville. Nova Bank is a full-service financial institution serving customers in the Huntsville area.

2. Booming Hot Pot & Grill
This “hot pot” concept is now open. This is a process where you order your noodles and broth and essentially cook the noodles at your table until they are ready to eat. Pretty cool and fun (and very old) concept.

- When: Now open
- More info
3. FX Market
This new gas station and convenience store is open on Pulaski Pike, and is locally owned and operated!

4. Niyah’s Southern Deli
Check out Niyah’s Southern Deli, housed inside Texaco. Far from your typical gas station fare, indulge in exceptional Southern cuisine featuring our signature meat and two sides.
- Where: 1392 Jordan Road, Suite D, Huntsville, AL 35811
- When: Nov. 19
- More info
5. Peach Cobbler Factory
Anyone who has experienced the Peach Cobbler Factory in Jones Valley knows how delicious this place’s entire menu is. The Madison location is opening soon!
- Where: 300 Hughes Rd, Madison, AL 35758
- When: TBA

Bid farewell to these local businesses

We hate to see a local business close, but the good news is that we do not have to report on these often. Here are a few local spots that have closed their doors recently:
- Pieology (Bridge Street)
- Big Lots (University Drive)
- Stirs (Jones Valley)
