Cliff and Leslie Patterson opened Black Dog Vinyl & Hifi in April 2021. The store sold vintage and new vinyl records, as well as vintage audio equipment. In September, they added a coffee shop and found themselves needing a name change. Here, you can enjoy a cup of coffee while you look through the collection of vinyl records.

Black Dog Grounds & Sounds is now open and brewing up local coffee.

“It’s been exciting being a part of Madison. The entire Huntsville/Madison area is growing like crazy, but we both believe it’s the small, local shops that are the heart and soul of a community.”

This will become a perfect spot for beer loves alike, no matter their favorite brewing company.

4. & 5. The Royal + The Belle

The Royal and The Belle are both new venues coming soon to Huntsville. These openings will be perfect locations for your next corporate event or even a wedding. The Royal will be the larger of the two venues. They’ll be connected by a door, so you can use both venues or just one!

On nights when there is a concert or public event at The Belle, it will transform into The Electric Belle. The outdoor sign, which will typically read “The Belle,” will light up to read “The Electric Belle, Live Now.” This will be your cue to check it out.

What fun would this be without a fun fact? The names of the venues pay homage to Stovehouse’s history. Stovehouse was once a factory for, you guessed it, stoves. Both The Royal and The Electric Belle were the names of heaters made in the factory.

The Royal and The Belle are now booking events for December 2021.
