Spring has most definitely sprung, with the cherry blossoms and dogwoods showing off around Huntsville.

But nature isn’t the only thing showing off—so are these local coffee shops and bakeries. They’re crafting seriously spring-y creations that bring a smile to our faces. Let’s dig in.

1. Strawberry Pretzel Latte from The Bakingtist

First, coffee (of course). The Bakingtist (AKA Heidi) is a baking and science master, but she’s also a queen of coffee. She just announced her very first specialty coffee since opening last December, and we couldn’t be happier about the flavor choice.

The Strawberry Pretzel Latte will be available starting this Saturday, April 15—and you’re going to want to try it.

2. Carrot Cake from Good Company Cafe

No nuts or raisins here! Good Company Cafe makes their carrot cake (also the April Cake of the Month) with fresh grated carrots and cream cheese buttercream—sans nuts and raisins. It’s a spring classic done right, and it never gets old.

3. Lavender Haze from Offbeat Coffee Studio

Swifties (or just people who love lavender) this one’s for you. Offbeat Studio is bringing the spring vibes in the form of a lavender-flavored coffee—a “cold brew topped with a fluffy, floral cloud of lavender cold foam” (Offbeat Coffee Studio’s Facebook)—with an iconic name.

4. Man on the Moon from Pizzelle’s

Of course, there has to be something space-themed on our list, right? Pizzelle’s Confections has us covered. Man on the Moon is a beautiful confection made with citrus cheesecake ganache and apricot pate de fruit—perfect for spring.

5. Lemon Tart Tea from Grounded Coffee

If you’re looking for some spring flavor in Madison, Grounded Coffee is the place to be. Their spring menu includes a Lemon Tart Tea, a milk tea made with Lemon Berry Blush tea from Piper + Leaf—served iced with whipped cream on top.
