5 Witches Ride events in the Huntsville area to enjoy

October is here and so is Halloween season, which mean folks can look forward to several Witches Ride events in the Huntsville area over the next few weeks.
Witches Rides are held all over the country to benefit numerous charitable and community causes, and they are tons of fun for the whole family (most have food trucks, some have parties and all have tons of Halloween candy). Here are some of the rides happening in and around Huntsville:
Madison Witches Ride – Oct. 22
The Madison Witches Ride this year will raise money for the new splash pad planned for the city. And be sure to stay for the Black Hat Block Party and Barks & Boos Pet Parade after the ride.

Hampton Cove Witches Ride – Oct. 22
This ride raises funds for St. Jude’s Hospital of Memphis. This has become one of the largest Witches Ride events in the area, and one of the most fun as well.

Canebrake Witches Ride – Oct. 22
This ride event benefits the Athens-Limestone Hospital Foundation Pink Elephant Fund, which provides mammogram scholarships for women not covered by health insurance. This event will also feature a variety of food trucks, pop-up shops, a photo booth and more.

Blossomwood Witches Ride – Oct. 29
This long-running event benefits Blount Hospitality House, which provides a home away from home for out-of-town family members of Huntsville area hospital patients. This is a fun ride through the Blossomwood neighborhood and features a block party afterwards with live music, food and more.

Monrovia Witches Ride
This ride in the Monrovia community benefits Monrovia Fire & Rescue and is hosted local Monrovia women business owners. Riders dress up, decorate bikes and throw candy to on-lookers along the way.
