Huntsville is arguably one of the nerdiest cities in the South, which makes sense given our proclivity for rockets and technology.

We’ve covered a lot of nerdy things about Huntsville including geeky restaurants, arcades and how to have a Lord of the Rings-inspired day.

This isn’t even our first list of nerdy stores in Huntsville, but there are too many to include in one article so we’re making another one.

Here are 7 more nerdy stores in Huntsville to check out:

1) Mastermind Models and Miniatures

If you’re looking to get into miniature or model making, there’s no better entry point in Huntsville than Mastermind.

Here you’ll find Miniatures for various tabletop games and larger models for Gundam various anime like Dragonball and Pokemon.

They offer classes on how to paint and assemble models and miniatures and sell all the supplies you’ll need to make the hobby accessible for both beginners and pros.

2) Metro Spy Supply

There’s only one spot in Huntsville for all your spying needs.

Metro Spy Supply has a wide range of practical and impractical goods ranging from discreet spy cams and microphones to chicken wing soaps and dog toys.

They also offer fingerprinting services and an array of classes on spying and becoming a Private investigator.

3) High Ground Hobbies

High Ground is a modern and well-stocked board and tabletop game shop.

With a great cafe and game room you’ll have everything you need for a late-night gaming session with friends or to compete in one of the many tournaments hosted here.

They’ve got a great selection of board games, guides, models and craft supplies.

4) Creamer and Cache Comics

At Creamer and Cache, you’ll find a great curated selection of geeky gear and collectibles.

You’ll find a large selection of Transformers, iconic comic books, action figures and more.

The stock here is always changing (much like many comic shops) so you’ll never know what you’ll find inside this awesome nerdy store.

5) Retro-Fitt Boutique

On the second floor of Lowe Mill in Studio 250 you’ll find a unique nerdy boutique.

Much of the cloths and accessories are hand made and curated to offer a selection you’re unlikely to find anywhere else.

You’ll also find fun gifts, toys and collectables scattered around the small corner shop.

6) Gamerz world

In a small unsuspecting shop is one of the largest vintage game selections I’ve ever seen.

Every generation is generously represented and organized for almost any console you can think of.

You can buy or sell consoles, games (both common and rare), collectibles and trading cards at this nerdy store.

7) Warhammer Store

You might not know, but Huntsville is home to its very own official Warhammer store.

A favorite of Henery Cavell, Warhammer is a tabletop game with a large and devoted community behind it.
