8 new business openings in the Huntsville area

Business openings in the Rocket City are off to a great start after ending 2023 with a bang. Check out these 8 new businesses in Huntsville.

1. Rocket City Dog Bar

Remember when Salty Nut Brewing closed this summer? Rocket City Dog Bar will take its place. The taproom will remain mostly the same as Salty Nut’s while the backyard has been reconverted into a safe space for dogs. They’re working on converting the warehouse into an on-leash area.

2. Humphrey Brothers Bistro + Lounge

The wait is finally over for Humphrey Brother’s Bistro + Lounge. The Italian, jazz and cigar lounge will include premium and well-known cigar and pipe brands and include all the necessary smoking accessories.

3. Del Chuco

From the creators of The Standard Social Market, (one of our all time faves!) comes a new Tex Mex restaurant set to open in downtown. The restaurant contains some fabulous murals that you’ll have the check on on their Instagram.

4. 116 Noble

This boutique restaurant is created by Chef Allen Noble. Noble grew up in Madison and was introduced to cooking by his grandparents. The restaurant does not offer traditional dinning hours. Instead, it hosts a monthly Supper club and other food experiences with Chef Noble.

5. Barrio

Barrio, a new taco restaurant, has opened next to the old Valentina’s Pizzeria location.

6. Culver’s

This locally owned and operated chain is opening its fourth Huntsville location on Winchester Road.

7. The Leaf Cigar Emporium
