Brown has helped guide Alabama A&M to a 6-2 overall record and a 3-1 mark in Southwestern Athletic Conference play. Through eight games, he has put together an impressive resume (that has also landed him on the Black College Player of the Year Watch List), including:

  • Completing 149 of 245 passes for 2,158 yards and 21 touchdowns against five interceptions
  • Completing 60.8 percent of his passes and averaging 269.8 passing yards per game
  • 137 rushing yards and four touchdowns

The graduate quarterback is coming off a huge performance in Alabama A&M’s 61-31 Homecoming victory over Grambling State in which he completed 22 of 38 passes for 417 yards and five touchdowns, adding an 8-yard rushing score to account for six total touchdowns.

Brown threw four touchdown passes during the Bulldogs’ 35-point third quarter, helping AAMU finish with 669 yards of total offense. His performance earned him SWAC Offensive Player of the Week recognition and FCS National Offensive Player of the Week Honorable Mention.

The Bulldogs are preparing for the annual Magic City Classic in Birmingham against Alabama State October 31.
