Auburn basketball coming to the Rocket City Dec. 15

The Auburn University men’s basketball team will play a regular season game in Huntsville in the upcoming season, facing off against Middle Tennessee State at Propst Arena at the Von Braun Center Dec. 15.

Rocket City Classic to feature Auburn + MTSU
The Rocket City Classic has been an annual tradition here in Huntsville, featuring a regular season SEC basketball game. Auburn last appeared in the event in 2023, defeating UNC-Asheville 87-62.

This is a tremendous opportunity to compete at a neutral site against a perennially competitive program in Middle Tennessee. I have great respect for Coach (Nick) McDevitt and I know he will have his team ready to play.”

The Middle Tennessee game adds to a non-conference schedule for Auburn with previously announced matchups against Wisconsin and West Virginia. The full non-conference schedule will be revealed later this summer.
