4 of the best things we ate in Huntsville in November
Reading time: 3 minutes
Huntsville has SO many spots for delicious foodβboth new favorites and long-time staples. Our team has gathered up some of the best things we ate this month. If you haven’t tried these yet, put them on your list!
1. Pig Bone-In Cowboy Steak, Poppy and Parliament
“This was my first time having this dish, and I was absolutely blown away. The tender meat combined with the fire roasted apple and cider sauce made for a delicious, cozy meal.”

2. Shredded pork burrito, Phil Sandoval’s in Madison
“This is a great lunch menu item β it’s not too much food, it has a more unique flavor than your traditional ground beef burrito.”
Michael Seale, Managing Content Producer

3. Turkey sandwich + fries, Straight to Ale
“I bailed on Black Friday shopping for a lunch at Straight to Ale, and the Turkey Sandwich was a welcome change from the many casseroles (and slices of pie) that defined my Thanksgiving week. It was a good choice. Plus, you can’t beat Straight to Ale’s friesβperfectly crispy + generously seasoned, they’re some of my favorites in Huntsville.”

3. Veggie bowl, Cava
“I ate at Cava for the first time this month, and the build-your-own bowl was even better than I expected. The combination of the fluffy rice, the perfectly-cooked veggies and the cruncy toppings made for a satisfying meal. But, the sauces were what really took it to the next level. The schug and the tahini sauce added so much flavor with the perfect amount of spice.”
