Reading time: 2 minutes
The holiday season is in full swing here in the Rocket City, and a new celebration event is on the slate for next weekend at Big Spring Park. The inaugural Big Spring Jingle is coming to the park Dec. 8, and it will be packed full of fun holiday activities for everyone.
Ice skating, dancing, eating, socializing, singling — you name it — are all part of this new event. Here’s what Big Spring Jingle is all about:
Huntsville’s first Big Spring Jingle
Huntsville Parks and Recreation, Downtown Huntsville, Inc. and the Huntsville Museum of Art will host the inaugural Big Spring Jingle Friday, Dec. 8 at Big Spring Park West.
The park will transform into a winter wonderland with special holiday lighting, music, a dance floor, prizes and giveaways. Even Santa Claus will be on hand to visit and pose for photos with his friends. And according to those in the know, Santa’s arrival also means “a strong chance of flurries in the park.”
“We are thrilled to host Big Spring Jingle alongside these outstanding community partners. We invite everyone to come out and celebrate the holidays with us. It’s going to be a great evening of fun and entertainment for all ages.”
James Gossett, Huntsville Parks & Recreation director
