The Huntsville area is home to some pretty awesome local theater groups, and this fall is a great time to catch some amazing local theater productions around town.
Check out these shows coming up in the next few months:
1. Ken Ludwig’s ‘Moriarty’
If you are into Sherlock Holmes stories, you will love this production from Theatre Huntsville. The play picks up after the supposed death of Sherlock Holmes at the Reichenbach Falls, as Watson struggles with his friend’s apparent demise.

2. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz
This Fantasy Playhouse production is an adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s original, and takes audiences back to the technicolor of the 1939 film with a contemporary twist about bravery, wonder, chosen family and learning to be present in the moment.

3. The Antelope Party
Don’t miss this production by the UAH Theater Department. The play explores the rise of a new social order and how the currents of history, normalization, and fear can sweep up even the most generous “Bro-nies” (Bros + My Little Pony fans).

4. Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley
Catch this sequel to Pride and Prejudice, written by the talented Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon. This charming play transports you back to the elegant world of Jane Austen, where love, laughter, and holiday cheer abound.
