August is upon us, and as the summer vacation for kids comes to a close, that does not mean the fun in Huntsville has to end. IN fact, we dare say it is in full force.

1. Huntsville Restaurant Week

Established in 2012, Huntsville Restaurant Week is actually a 10-day event that features a variety of special menu items, events and deals at dozens of Huntsville eateries.

2. Olympic Watch Party + Food Truck Rally

We cannot mention August events and not mention the Paris Olympics or our monthly food truck rally. And these are a combined event this month!

4. Rocket City Octane Auto Show

North Alabama’s premier indoor auto show brings car enthusiasts from across the southeast for a family-friendly event.

5. RNBlues + BBQ Fest

Celebrate this perfect blend of tasty southern BBQ & live R&B and southern blues music in Huntsville.

6. ‘Star Wars’ Night with Huntsville City FC
