- What: The Athens City Council approved incentives to bring a new Olive Garden restaurant to the city, the first Olive Garden to open in Athens.

- What: This new event facility has event spaces that can accommodate up to 120 people. There are also offices for rent, conference spaces and more!

North Village Town Center

- What: A new $240 million development was approved by the Huntsville City Council last week, a 500,000-square-foot shopping center anchored by Target and Home Depot. A new Huntsville Hospital facility will be built adjacent to the development.

Baby Bite Bake Shop closing at the end of the year
Some sad news for the local business community was announced last week, when Baby Bite Bake Shop on Airport Road announced it will close its doors at the end of the year.
“It’s been such an honor to serve this community for the last seven years. We cannot thank you enough for trusting us with every wedding, event or occasion that you’ve celebrated. After many hard conversations we have decided to close our doors after the end of the year.”
