City of Huntsville approves annexation of 236 acres in Limestone County

It seems Huntsville never stops growing, and this week is no different. The city just approved the annexation of 236.58 acres of land located in Limestone County. The area is known as LeCroix Farms.

Back on September 22, we covered how Huntsville purchased 30 acres in Limestone County, which makes this the second Huntsville/Limestone County development this week.

Where is LeCroix Farms + what is Huntsville planning with it?

LeCroix Farms is located in West Huntsville, south of Huntsville Brownsferry Road and west of Greenbrier Parkway.

Right now, the area is just farmland, but the current plan in place calls for the construction of single-family homes.

So, it’s very likely this area will become a neighborhood development in the near future.
