There are plenty of exciting concerts lined up around the Rocket City this month. If you’re looking for a live music event to attend, whether you like Conway Twitty, rock, hip-hop/rap or classical music, we’ve got you covered.

1. Conway: It’s Only Make Believe Starring David Lee

Come see David Lee as Conway Twitty sing songs originally performed by the famous American singer-songwriter. Lee is a tribute artist who has also performed as Elvis at tribute shows across the country.

2. Lynyrd Skynyrd + ZZ Top

Two historically iconic rock bands are joining forces on The Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour, which will be brought to the Propst Arena this month. You won’t want to miss out on this amazing concert, also featuring the Kentucky rock band Black Stone Cherry.

3. Jim Parker’s Songwriters Series

The Huntsville-exclusive Jim Parker’s Songwriters Series continues at the VBC Playhouse this month, showcasing a selection of talented artists. If you haven’t already been, you should definitely check out this monthly dinner-theater event.

4. The Legends

Seven Houston-native rappers will be performing at The Orion Amphitheater this April, making for a legendary concert you won’t want to miss out on. Featured artists include Scarface, Z-Ro, Lil Flip, Mike Jones, Slim Thug, Paul Wall and Lil’ Keke.

5. Huntsville Symphony Orchestra presents “Manhler + Rachmaninov” – Classical 5

If you haven’t had a chance to experience Huntsville Symphony Orchestra’s series of classical shows, you should grab your tickets to their upcoming show this April, as it will be their last show for the season. Held at the Mark C. Smith Concert Hall, this show will feature a piano concerto inspired by the work of Edvard Grieg and a beautiful symphony.

6. Home Free

American a cappella country group Home Free are taking their Crazy(er) Life Tour to the Mark C. Smith Concert Hall this April. The group, which has been noted as “country music fans’ favorite a cappella group” by Taste of Country, is celebrating the 10-year anniversary of their breakout album titled “Crazy Life.”

7. Celtic Woman

The all-female Irish musical ensemble is embarking on their Anniversary Tour and celebrating their album “20 (20th Anniversary).” Their discography consists of 18 masterful albums, including multiple Christmas records.

8. Nickel Creek

Wrapping up our list of exciting concerts in Huntsville is Nickel Creek, an American bluegrass band formed in 1989 in Carlsbad, California. The group has won a Grammy award for Best Contemporary Folk Album and they will be touring with American country singer Kacey Musgraves later this year.
