In case you missed it, singer-songwriter sensation Phoebe Bridgers has returned from her 2+ year long hiatus and is touring again.

This new tour has come seemingly out of nowhere and is being kept, what the kids might call, “lowkey.” She announces her shows day-of via flyers in local coffee shops, and is choosing venues that only house a max of 400-500 people.

Oh yeah, and did I mention she doesn’t tell anyone the location of her next show until the day of? It leaves even her most loyal fans speculating where she’s heading next to give themselves the best odds of finding a ticket.

Here’s why many fans speculate Huntsville could be one of her next stops:

• Phoebe Bridgers has a history of being connected to space, via strong space-themed imagery during performances, costumes and certain song lyrics (including full songs like “Chinese Satellite” + “Moon Song”)
• Two of her first five shows on this tour have come at famous UFO sighting locations (Roswell, NM + Lubbock, TX)
• Huntsville, along with obvious space + rocket ties, also has an aptly named venue for her to play in—Mars Music Hall
• She is in the geographic area, with her last show being in Jackson MS and reports of her tour bus being spotted by fans in Mobile this morning 🙊

Time will tell if she makes a stop in our city or not—but either way, her fans are excited she’s back and touring again.
