While we have some really cool concerts heading our way in the next several weeks, don’t forget that here in Huntsville we are strong supporters of the arts, and we have plenty of upcoming arts events happening here in town as well.

Here are a few suggestions:

‘Six: The Musical”

A musical look at the wives of King Henry VIII, “Six” is the winner of 23 awards, including the 2022 Tony Award® for Best Original Score (Music and Lyrics) and the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical.

‘The Aluminum Show’

A unique and energetic experience for the entire family, is a stimulating tour de force that combines movement, dance, visual theater and plenty of humor.

In the show, talented dancers and actors breathe life into aluminum-made industrial materials while telling the story of an astronaut who was on a mission in a bizarre metallic world.

Huntsville Ballet presents ‘Dancers’ Choice’

This series of in-studio performances gives Huntsville Ballet Company’s professional dancers the opportunity to perform in genres of their choice.

The intimate setting of the studio has proven to create an immersive, interactive experience. Each performance will conclude with the opportunity to meet and ask questions of the dancers.

Dancing maidens, spinning wheels, silly tricksters, alluring mystery and hilarious adventures will ensure in the latest twisted fairytale from Fantasy Playhouse’s very own Nysland forest.

Writer’s Series: Ashley M. Jones, Alabama Poet Laureate

Theatre Huntsville always provides some entertaining arts events here in town, and this upcoming show is no exception. “By the Way, Meet Vera Startk” is an entertaining production that shines a spotlight on the untold stories of Black actresses in Hollywood’s Golden Age, offering a fresh perspective on race, identity and the pursuit of fame.
