Create Your Own Fresh Evergreen Centerpiece

‘Tis the season for festive, natural décor! Add a touch of holiday cheer to your home with a beautiful fresh evergreen centerpiece — designed by you. In this hands-on class, instructor Misty Hertzig will introduce essential evergreen materials and guide you step-by-step in creating your own custom arrangement to take home. All basic supplies are provided, but you’re welcome to bring personal touches to make your centerpiece uniquely yours — think ribbons, ornaments, or special embellishments.

Each class attendee will make their own evergreen centerpiece from materials harvested from the Garden. Once completed, your beautiful creation will go home with you to decorate your home for the holidays!

Additional Information

This class will take place in person at Huntsville Botanical Garden. Location information will be provided via email the week of the class.

The class will begin promptly at its start time, so please arrive at the Garden 15 minutes early to allow time to travel to the class location.

About Your Instructor

Misty Hertzig is the Learning Programs Manager and a certified educator at Huntsville Botanical Garden. She has been at the Garden since 2002 and holds a Master of Education with an emphasis in Environmental Education. She loves working with students of all ages to support the Garden’s mission of connecting people to plants.
