Foraging Hike at Bethel Spring Nature Preserve
(Moderate / 2 hours) Join forager, Casey Lanier, to hike along the beautiful Bethel Spring Nature Preserve trails to forage for edible plants.
A FEW NOTES: This hike is educational, so if you’re looking for a walk with no long stops to talk, it’s probably not what you’re looking for. The hike is scheduled to last 2 hours, but it may run long. This hike around the preserve is not intended for collection or consumption of species, but more to better identify the amazing plants and fungi we have in North Alabama.
Location: Bethel Spring Nature Preserve, 2641 Cherry Tree Rd, New Hope, AL 35760
