Foraging Hike at Bethel Springs
(Moderate/around 2.5 hours/around 2 miles) Join forager Casey Lanier out at Bethel Spring this Saturday to seek out the edible plants and other species to be found in the forest as summer comes to a close. The hike, determined largely the day of the event, is moderate in difficulty due to the slope of the preserve, but as with all of the foraging hikes, the group will make several stops to discuss different plants and fungi.
Location: Bethel Spring Nature Preserve – 2641 Cherry Tree Road, Gurley, AL 35748
