Hike at Monte Sano (Cleermont Trailhead)
(Moderate / 1.5 hours / About 2 miles) Fagan Creek is beautiful year-round. The route for this hike will start at Cleermont Trailhead and head east on Wildflower Trail. At the end of Wildflower Trail, you’ll spend just a few minutes on Fagan Springs Trail before heading south on Alms House Trail. You’ll leave Alms House Trail to take a section of Wagon Trail and Young-Kennedy Trail before getting back on Alms House Trail heading northeast. Finish by taking the short Sink Hole Trail back to Wildflower Trail returning to the trailhead.
Note: This preserve has several trailheads – be sure to come to the right one.
Location: Monte Sano Nature Preserve (Cleermont Trailhead) – 500 Cleermont Dr SE, Huntsville, AL 35801
