Leaf Castings
August 8 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
@
Leaf castings are a unique and impactful way to preserve the beauty of nature. Created using concrete molds of real leaves, these lovely décor pieces highlight the individuality of a leaf’s shape and structure. They can be as garden accents, birdbaths, bowls, and more!
Join Rebecca Turk to learn the steps and tricks to making these beautiful and natural pieces of art. This is a hands-on class, and all materials will be supplied. At the end of the class, you will take home a copy of the instructions and two leaf casts of your own! Plus, you are sure to be full of creative ideas for future leaf casts that will enhance your garden.
This class will take place in-person at the Huntsville Botanical Garden in an indoor space. Please come prepared to get messy! Wear old clothes, avoid wearing jewelry, and bring heavy-duty dishwashing gloves.
Because leaf casts need time to cure, class attendees will need to pick up their leaf casts on Friday, August 9.
Pricing:
Members: $70/person
Non-Members: $120/person
