Lure and Learn: An Intro to Fishing Class

Ever wanted to learn to fish? Do you want to make sure you’re making ethical decisions about the way you fish, for food or sport? Please join Land Trust educator Clark McClung out at Harvest Square Nature Preserve, where he’ll be teaching fishing with an environmentally-conscious mindset. Any individual from ages 6 and up is welcome to come learn to fish with the Land Trust. If you plan to fish and you are 16 or older, you must purchase a freshwater fishing license from the Alabama Department of Conservation & Natural Resources.
Cost: Free
Please bring your own fishing gear if you can. Staff will have a limited amount of equipment on site.
Meeting location: Kiosk at Harvest Square Nature Preserve
