Naturalist Hike
Monte Sano Nature Preserve at the Cold Springs Trailhead
(Easy / around 1 hour / around 1 mile) Join forest ecologist, Soos Weber, as we amble along the trails to learn more about the ecology of our Land Trust Nature Preserves. This will be a slow-paced hike where we will stop to learn about the forest around us here in North Alabama.
Begin at the Cold Spring Trailhead and follow the trail to its end with many stops along the way to discuss the natural beauties of Monte Sano.
Location: Monte Sano Nature Preserve, Cold Springs Trailhead, 150 Fearn Street SE, Huntsville, AL 35801
Note: This preserve has several trailheads – be sure to come to the right one.
