Tangled String Studios Presents Gus Hergert Volume 1 (and everything else)

Danny Davis and Tangled String Studios studio RR7 in melodic Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment is opening up his doors to Gus Hergert – a seasoned local songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with eight albums of original music already under his belt and a ninth—a double album—  released in the summer of 2025. His work spans a wide range of styles, showcasing both his versatility as a musician and his dedication to crafting songs that balance depth with accessibility.

On stage, Gus is just as dynamic as he is in the studio. Comfortable behind guitar, bass, keys, or percussion, he slips seamlessly into whatever role the music calls for. Over the years, he’s become a fixture in the regional music scene, lending his talents to an array of projects. You can catch him performing with The Waco Kids, The Grassring, Seminole Strut, or Sturgill’s Turtles—each offering a different glimpse into his musical personality. With every project, Gus continues to expand his creative reach while staying true to the artistry that drives him.
